Your donation supports cultural preservation, education, and community services that make a lasting impact. In 2026, your generosity will directly fund the following priority projects:

🏛️ Project 1 — Museum Growth, Education & Outreach

We are expanding the museum’s role as a dynamic educational and cultural resource for all audiences. This project includes:

• Creating a new museum display to enhance storytelling and visitor engagement
  
• Developing an interactive digital map overlaying present-day San Francisco with historical views
  
• Installing a smartboard to support school visits and educational programs
  
• Producing new visitor brochures
  
• Designing a guided visit for children ages 7–10, tailored to young learners
  
• Launching a new museum outreach program to bring our collections and stories to schools, community groups, and partner institutions
  

Why it matters:
These initiatives ensure that French and Francophone history in San Francisco remains accessible, engaging, and relevant for future generations, while expanding educational access beyond the museum’s walls.

🌍 Project 2 — Welcome & Training Center for New Immigrants

This new center will support French-speaking immigrants as they integrate into professional and community life. This project includes:

• Resume writing and interview preparation
  
• Job search guidance and professional orientation
  
• Training pathways to become a certified Teacher of French as a Foreign Language (FLE)
  

Why it matters:
By supporting professional integration and skills development, this center empowers newcomers to build stable careers, contribute to the local economy, and strengthen the French-speaking community.

🧱 Project 3 — Front Desk Area Renovation

We plan to improve the front desk area to better welcome visitors and support daily operations. This project includes:

• Retiling the front desk area to improve durability, safety, and appearance

A welcoming and functional entrance sets the tone for every visitor’s experience and reflects the professionalism, care, and vitality of our organization.

💻 Project 4 — Exam Center Technology Upgrade

To ensure reliability and compliance with testing standards, we will modernize our exam center equipment. This project includes:

• Replacing all computers used for exams and certifications

Up-to-date technology is essential for delivering secure, fair, and high-quality exams and ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience for candidates.

🎭 Project 5 — Events & Operations Improvements

Our cultural events are central to community life, and this project strengthens our ability to host them efficiently and professionally. This project includes:

• Purchasing new speakers for performances and lectures
  
• Adding additional lighting for events
  
• Installing a washer and dryer for linens and tablecloths
  
• Adding a dishwasher and ice machine to streamline event operations

Improved equipment enhances event quality, reduces operational strain, and allows staff and volunteers to focus on delivering meaningful cultural experiences.
