Dear community, the Alliance Française of San Francisco is implementing a new system of membership starting November 20, 2021. We want to
offer our students and community the best quality classes and services when it comes to learning French and accessing resources to do it
successfully. The AFSF is a non-profit so our membership fees will directly go towards supporting the operations of our organization,
creating new events, maintaining our library and providing our community with the right environment to succeed.
We kept memberships simple. A valid membership will now be required to purchase group classes, private classes and camps.
Prospective and current students get to choose between an individual and a family membership, for $60 and $110 respectively. Discounted
rates are also available (see policy).
For 1 calendar year, members will get access to a lot more than our classes. The AFSF membership includes access to but is not limited to:
the Culturethèque, our online francophone library, special deals with partners, members-only events such as café des membres and welcome
events, and our unique physical francophone library in San Francisco. When subscribing, members will also get a $20 discount for the first
group classes session they purchase.
To celebrate this launch, the AFSF negotiated a special access to TV5
Monde plus new streaming platform
on Sling TV for members who will join between Thanksgiving and the Winter Holidays (November 20 to December 22, 2021), to redeem

We are excited for this new step in our history. We can’t wait to see our community enjoy all the benefits of our membership and make
the most of the tools available to them to succeed in their French learning adventure.
