No refunds for classes or workshops
For any reason of cancellation from the student, we only offer credit only for a
future session or transfer to another class of equal value. We do not offer credit for a less than 24-hour cancellation. Credit
is good for 1 year, and then it expires.
No refunds will be offered.
Class withdrawals must be made in writing to afsf@afsf.com and should include a request for a class
credit with justification. Any
class held, whether you attended or not, before receipt of a withdrawal notice will be deducted from the credit.
In the case of a class cancelled
by AFSF, and only in this case, a refund may be offered.

The Alliance Française of San Francisco reserves the right to cancel courses, adjust curriculum or change teachers at any time during the
session. New classes must reach a minimum enrollment of three students in order for the class to open, and a minimum of
six students to be fully open.
Courses are typically cancelled due to insufficient enrollment (minimum of 3 students) or unavailability of an instructor. If your
course is cancelled, you will be notified by telephone or e-mail and given the option to transfer, receive a credit, or be fully refunded.
A note on prorated pricing: If a significant portion of students in a group class are prorated, the number of
students needed to keep the class open may be higher. For example, if 2 students in the class are only coming to 4 out of the 8 classes,
and are only paying 50% of the class price, they may be counted as 1 student.
