classes for kids

Level 1 -  semester 1: 
You want to introduce your kid to French - the French for Kids class is the best option for that! 
By the end of the semester, they will be familiar with the following concepts:
- in the classroom: objects, actions and how to interact in the classroom in French 
- in the playground: the toys, the games and the activities you play around with in French  
- during the week: what is their routine, what does their schedule look like in French 
- with my family: describe their family members and give information about them in French 
- in the kitchen: telling their taste about the fruit, the vegetables and different food items in French 
- after school: the different rooms of the house and what they do after school at home in French

Level 2 -  semester 1:
Communication :
-To ask and tell the date and the time.
-To tell what we do for a day
-To know how to say your address
-To ask and tell someone the way to go somewhere and more !
Vocabulary :
-The date, the months, the seasons
-Everyday actions like to wake up, to dress up etc…
-The numbers from 20 to 60 and more !
Grammar:
-Pronominal verbs (je, tu, il/elle)
-Verb to go,
-The negative form of impératif
-Le futur proche  and more ! Les petits Francophones
Votre enfant parle très bien français mais fait souvent des erreurs de grammaire, de vocabulaire ou d’orthographe ? Ce cours est fait pour vous ! Avec Learn French with stories, votre enfant apprendra à conjuguer des verbes correctement, appliquer les accords, reconnaître l’orthographe des mots de la vie de tous les jours mais aussi en apprendre de nouveau à travers des documents variés adaptés à leur âge et centres d'intérêt.  

De manière plus profonde, voici les objectifs de la classe : 

• Apprendre à passer de l’oral à l’écrit sans faire de faute 
  
• Construire et développer le lexique et le vocabulaire 
  
• S’initier à l’orthographe lexical et grammatical (les accords, les conjugaisons…) 
  
• Se repérer dans la phrase simple (savoir en identifier ses éléments) 
  

Chaque leçon sera un mélange de compréhension de texte, grammaire, vocabulaire et orthographe, incluant aussi un moment de discussion (mini débat, discussion sur le texte)  à travers des activités ludiques qui invitent les élèves à réfléchir sur le français, comment il est construit et comment ils peuvent se l’approprier à l’oral et à l’écrit.

For some courses, a book is required and can be purchased at the same time as registration. If you need to purchase the book separately, you will find it on the following page

Yes, late registration is possible until a class is full. In this case, we would prorate the price for the missed class(es). Contact us here if you register after September.
