This class aims to help students acquire elementary knowledge about the French language and create a functioning vocabulary. Have you acquired some basics in French, but can’t seem to figure out how to actually speak? This course is for you! This course focuses on YOU talking as much as possible. The teacher will help you facilitate your speech, with pronunciation and grammar corrections when needed.
This 8 hours course will cover:
Week 1 and 2: Discover French cities through videos and pictures. Share your experience of travelling in France
Week 3 and 4 : My city and directions. Now that we have talked about French cities, compare with your city nowadays.
Week 5 and 6 : Countries
Week 7 and 8 : Partez en voyage! Talk and discuss travels

In this Elementary Conversation class, we will talk about la Francophonie, French culture, news, hobbies, and art based on articles and videos.
This class will provide you with various opportunities for expression - from the general classroom setting through small-group discussions and oral reports. You will learn how to give your opinion and to speak naturally and freely, becoming more confident and comfortable in any conversation in French !

As you know reading is one of the best tools to improve your language skills. In this course you will discover the
pleasure of reading in French. We will work on an easy French novel. During this session we will read the book together page
by page, discuss new vocabularies, slight review of some grammaire points if necessary, debate about the characters of the book and
their decisions.
Every student is required to purchase their own book. The book this session is:
