Starting in August: some classes will be held on-site in San Francisco. Most of the courses will still be held online. Look for the sign "AF San Francisco" above the schedule to find on-site classes.

Looking for an opportunity to practice your speaking skills? Enroll in a Conversation course with a 20% discount. 
Discount is applied automatically when registering for any regular course AND a conversation course.
OR
When you are already enrolled in a French course for adults for the next session (session 6), you can get 20% OFF when you register for a conversation course during the session 6.
Valid until October 18th, 2021.

For all: "MULTIPLE CLASSES - SAME SESSION" DISCOUNT
Get a 10%  discount on each French course when you register for two or more group courses (other than a conversation course) scheduled during the same session.

For AFSF students: until October 18th, get a 5% discount as a returning student. AFSF students are people who signed up for group courses in 2021 or 12 hours of private lessons during the last 12 months.

  • Level A2 : Elementary (previously Intermediate / Intermédiaire)

  • Level B1 : Intermediate (previously Advanced / Avancé )

  • Level B2 : Advanced (previously Master / Maîtrise)

  • Level C1 : Proficient (previously Expert)

From Beginner level 3, come and join us to give a try in conversing in French !

Each week, you will have a document (a text, a video...) to read/watch at home to get you prepared to the conversation. Eight classes, four general topics, to allow you to discover and reuse specific vocabulary while practising your speaking skills !

Programme - for levels A1.3- A2.4 Everyday French This class is designed for upper Beginner and Elementary students who wish to improve and practice their skills of basic French situations, from introducing yourself, to asking for directions and visiting the doctor. Each week will focus on one specific theme and include vocabulary, grammar and simulations to ensure you can now navigate each situation easily.

Each week, you will have a document (a text, a video...) to read/watch at home to get you prepared to the conversation. The class is designed for everyone who wants to learn to communicate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions. It aims to help students acquire knowledge about the French language vocabulary functioning.
