Join us for a captivating cultural evening where music, fragrance, and storytelling come together in a unique one-hour sensory experience with Yoko Lévy-Kobayashi, renowned violinist and trained perfumer.

Presented in partnership with Villa Albertine and the Alliance Française of San Francisco, this immersive event invites audiences to explore the unexpected connections between sound and scent. Through live music, fragrance, and conversation, Yoko will guide us through a creative journey in which each sense echoes and enriches the other.

The evening will unfold in four parts:

• Presentation – Discover Yoko’s artistic journey and her exploration of the relationship between music and fragrance.
  
• Violin Performance – Experience a live performance highlighting Yoko’s artistry and musical expression.
  
• Olfaction Experience – Guided by Yoko, explore a selection of carefully crafted fragrances inspired by and connected to the music.
  
• Q&A with the Artist – Engage with Yoko and discover more about her creative process and the dialogue between sound and scent.

About Yoko Lévy-Kobayashi

Born in Strasbourg, Yoko Lévy-Kobayashi began her musical studies at the age of 10 and went on to train at prestigious institutions, including the CNSM de Paris. She is currently 2ème Violon Solo at the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France. She has also performed with renowned ensembles such as the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre National de France, working with distinguished conductors including Riccardo Muti and Kurt Masur. Alongside her career as a violinist, Yoko pursued her passion for fragrance at Cinquième Sens in Paris. She later launched her own perfume brand, Violoniste Parfums, in Paris. Her unique artistic practice brings these two worlds together, transforming music and perfume into an immersive exploration of memory, emotion, and the senses.
