Learning French in a group setting
How to learn a language?
Well, you can find different ways that could suit your way of learning: apps, books, podcasts, films, newspapers, meetup, private
tutoring, or even immersion in a French speaking country...
But have you considered what a group course can bring to you ?
Here is a sample of what students say about what they like in their French group courses at the Alliance Française de San Francisco.
-
"I really enjoy when we all prepare something (brief essay, answer to a question, etc.) and then share what we wrote."
-
"One of the first assignments we had was creating a quiz to do with the class, and that was a lot of fun because it was very interactive."
-
"I enjoyed the small presentations we did at the beginning of most classes. They were a good opportunity to practice speaking out loud."
-
"J'aime les articles que on lit, les jeux, tous les exercises... Nous n'avons rien fait que je n'ai pas aimé."
-
"Games, quizlet, life conversations, and Kahoot game."
-
"The emphasis on a particular subject for each class and the inclusion of each student in the conversation."
-
"Interacting with everyone, the ability to work on the shared notes too."
-
"It's all about the conversation. Terrific."
-
"Discussions that focus directly on the literary piece we are reading. Conversation, posing questions to each other, in-class exercises, dictées."
