Thank you to our partners : seven sponsors for a Roaring Twenties night
On Thursday, November 5, from 6 to 11 pm, the Alliance Française de San Francisco turns into a 1920s Speakeasy for La Nuit au Musée : A Sip
of the Roaring 20’s. Expect live jazz, French chanson, a Charleston lesson, casino tables, period cocktails, French wines and a Francophone
buffet. A short talk by historian Rebecca Yerger will also revisit how French winemakers and traditions helped California wine survive
Prohibition.
A night like this takes a village, and ours includes seven partners who share a love of French gastronomy. Here is who they are, and why we
say MERCI.
Fabrique Délices
Fabrique Délices has been crafting fine French charcuterie in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1985. Four decades on, it has become the
go-to name for charcuterie at leading restaurants across the country, proof of its high standards, craftsmanship and the French culinary
heritage it carries forward.
Boho Petite
Nothing compares to the magic of the moment a delicate pastry or a beautiful cake appears right in front of you. Boho Petite grew out of
childhood memories of “sugarplums dancing in our heads.” Its aim is to give you that same thrill every time you step through the door.
Amelie Wine Bar
Open since 2010 in the heart of San Francisco, on Polk Street, Amelie Wine Bar blends French-style warmth with city energy. This wine bar
and bistro serves carefully chosen wines, tasty small plates and lively live-music nights. It stands for relaxed elegance, French culinary
charm and the spirit of the local community.
Costco Wholesale
Since opening its first warehouse in Seattle in 1983, Costco Wholesale has become one of the largest membership warehouse clubs in the
world. From its Kirkland Signature line to an impressive range of wines, cheeses and fine foods, it delivers quality and value to millions
of members, here in the Bay Area and well beyond.
Galaxy Desserts
Galaxy Desserts begins with a passion for French-inspired sweets. The bakery is celebrated for its wide variety of treats: velvety mousse
cakes, light croissants, rich tarts and creamy cheesecakes. Only top-quality ingredients are used, so every bite strikes the right balance
between flavor and texture.
Grégoire
Started in Berkeley in 2002 by chef Grégoire Jacquet, Grégoire has just opened a new spot in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset. It is known as
the “home of the potato puff” and for its poutine, with a seasonal menu offering plenty of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free
choices. Guests can sit indoors or outdoors.
KC Paris Desserts
A little taste of Paris in San Francisco: French pastries and viennoiserie baked fresh every day by Chef Didy. The shop is at 1365 Fillmore
Street, in the former Merchant Roots space, in the heart of the historic Fillmore district. Owner and pastry chef Chef Didy is a graduate of
the prestigious Ferrandi school in Paris, where she also co-owned a bakery.
To all our partners, thank you for helping the années folles come alive on Bush Street.
