The Alliance Française de San Francisco offers tests and diplomas based on the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.

TCF

TCF is given to determine one's proficiency in French. This test is produced by CIEP.
We offer 4 differents kinds of TCF exams:

• TCF TP (Tout public/ all audiences): to assess your French language skills for personal, academic or professional reasons
• TCF ANF (pour l'accès à la nationalité française/ for French nationality): to justify your level of French if you are applying for French nationality
• TCF Canada: to assess your level of French for your immigration application in Canada
• TCF Quebec: to assess your level of French for your immigration application in Quebec
• TCF DAP: for  students who wish to apply as a first year undergraduate (licence 1) to a French university or French school of architecture (only once a year).

DAEFLE

Formation initiale ou continue qui s’effectue à distance. Cette formation diplômante est à visée professionnelle. Elle est le fruit d’un partenariat entre l’Alliance française Paris Ile-de-France et le Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance (CNED). Elle peut être suivie où que vous soyez dans le monde. Cette formation s’adresse à toute personne se préparant à enseigner ou enseignant déjà le français à un public non francophone.
L'Alliance Française de San Francisco est centre d'examen pour le test d'entrée ainsi que l'examen final.

L'ESIT

En partenariat avec l'ESIT (École Supérieure d’Interprètes et de Traducteurs), l'Alliance Française de San Francisco organise les examens d'entrée de la section Traduction de l'ESIT .
