Nadia Bodin
I was born in Provence, lived in Paris for a couple of years, then moved to Singapore, Sydney before settling in California. I view
myself as a citizen of the world embracing cultural and linguistic diversity. My first education is a master’s degree in computer science,
but I changed my career path to become a teacher in French because I want to share my love of the French culture and create the best
educational environment for my students. I obtained the Certificate to teach French as a foreign language. I also passed the
qualification to be an DELF / DALF Examiner.
I like to quote Benjamin Franklin to explain my teaching philosophy: Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve
me and I learn.
What our students say:
"Nadia is patient and enthusiastic to teach. She is punctual and is always available to answer questions. I liked how she as excited to share french culture as she was curious to learn about the student's cultures. I took the online course and Nadia well utilized the online tools like Google docs and breakout rooms and I did not miss the in-person aspect of French beginner classes. It was a truly immersive learning experience with her " - Beginner A1 student .
