Rita Vieira Domingos
Born in Portugal shortly after the Carnation Revolution, Rita moved to Switzerland as a child. She obtained a Licence ès Lettres with a double major in Philosophy and Art History and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Geneva. Before moving to San Francisco seven years ago, Rita worked as an HR Specialist in international companies for a few years. She also taught French to non-native children and adults. Fluent in four languages, Rita loves meeting people from different backgrounds, traveling, and learning about new cultures and ideas. She is patient, positive, and empathetic. Besides, Rita values diversity and strives to infuse a growth mindset in her students. Apart from running a group of contemporary French literature, Rita is completing her clinical traineeship at a community outpatient clinic in San Francisco to become a Marriage and Family Therapist.
