Alexandra Shaeffer

A native northern Californian, Alexandra Shaeffer is a language teacher as well as research and education consultant with a passion for language and culture. Returning home to the San Francisco Bay Area after 17 years away, she has lived in various parts of the world, including the US Midwest, East Coast, France, and Central Asia.

She has over 14 years of experience teaching French to students of all ages, proficiency levels, and backgrounds, and she is dedicated to helping others learn and appreciate the beauty of the French language. As a research and education consultant, she has worked with various organizations to develop and implement effective language education programs.

Personally and professionally, Alexandra strives to insert humor, compassion, and patience when engaging with others. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, reading, spending time with her family, and exploring the world of wine through tastings and vineyard visits.
