Yes, late registration is possible until a class is full. In this case, we would prorate the price. Contact us here if you register after September 14^th. On October 6^th and 13^th, you have the opportunity to attend a class for only $10 before enrolling for the year!

Students who already know some French or who are at a French 2 level.
To assess your level, take the placement test. This placement test will mainly assess your reading, writing, and listening skills. After completing the online placement test, you will know immediately your level. This test is mandatory before registering for a course for teens.

Our curriculum is based on Adosphère 3  (textbook and exercise book), supplemental learning material, and authentic documents.

- Some basic Grammar: Imperative, comparative and superlative, imparfait / passé composé, interjections, conditional tense...
- Cultural topics: comic books, fashion and style, French dishes, urban sports, great explorers...
- Some Vocabulary: music, physical description, brands and styles, sports, travel, environmental activism...
- Phonetics, or "how to speak like a French": Homophones, final consonants for numbers, the silent e, tone, Informal negation...

Yes, you need to purchase a 1-year individual or family membership at the Alliance Française de San Francisco (AFSF) :

You may also payment in 3 installments over the phone or in person during our opening hours (only for registration for a full year and by card only):
