Located in the center of France, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region offers many beautiful landscapes. Between lakes, volcanoes, and mountains, many activities are possible to discover this region's heritage.

• une randonnée = a hike

What is it?

• Vulcania : French center of scientific culture around volcanism and amusement park on the theme of volcanoes, located near Clermont-Ferrand.

• a quenelle : Soft cylindrical dough poached in boiling water. It is made from flour, breadcrumbs, semolina or cabbage dough, mixed with meat and poached in water or broth. It is a typical dish of the Lyon region.

• the Via Rhona : bicycle road located in France
