I was born and raised in Brittany, France. I’ve always wanted to teach my mother tongue and share the beautiful French culture, language and literature, themes that have always interested me.
After studying literature and languages in high school, I followed the same path in University by graduating from two BA’s, one in Literature and Linguistics and a second one in English at La Sorbonne in Paris. I graduated last year from a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language at La Sorbonne.
Before arriving in San Francisco, I taught French at the American School in Paris as an intern, I was also a French teaching assistant at the American University of Paris and I volunteered as a French teacher in a charity helping women refugees integrating and finding a job in France. Teaching French have always been my passion and I love the fact that each day and each course is always different. I love teaching adults or kids since it is always a different experience and a daily challenge.
In my courses, I like introducing French songs and always try to give students some time to speak in French spontaneously.
My goal is to allow each person taking French classes to manage talking with Francophones in France or in another francophone country.
Watching each human being improving its level in French makes me very proud and gives me more and more motivation to teach and to make myself a better teacher.
