Dominic Romano

Growing up between his native California and the French Alps, Dominic has been in touch with his French lineage since he was a child. Dominic spent his early years in Los Angeles, where he attended Lycée International de Los Angeles and later attended UC Santa Cruz, where he won the Steck Family Award for Best Senior Thesis for his research on Lebanese and Syrian cinema. He subsequently attended Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec where he completed his Master's in Film Studies.

As a musician, visual artist, and academic, Dominic has always had an affinity for French culture and history. Now, he has joined the team at Alliance Française de San Francisco to share his passion for languages and culture with others. Allez Les Bleus!!
