Yara Arja Itani

Yara Arja Itani is a multilingual journalist, educator and translator working across Arabic, French, and English communities. With a decade of experience in journalism, teaching, and large-scale translation projects, she has developed a sharp ability to craft narratives that inform, engage, and transform audiences. As an educator, Yara has taught at both university and school levels, with expertise in the Lebanese, French, and IB curricula. She has led civic education and literature programs, trained teachers, and served as a jury member for the French Baccalaureate, holding multiple AEFE certifications in curriculum development and instructional leadership. Her PhD in French Literature, focused on nonfiction narratives of Middle Eastern conflicts, strengthens her work at the intersection of culture, education, and media advancing knowledge, critical thinking, and meaningful dialogue.
