Jessie Poquérusse

Bonjour !

As a neurolinguistics enthusiast, I take great joy in helping students playfully discover French as a gateway to the rich and vibrant world of francophone cultures.

To this end, I have been teaching French for several years, including at the Alliance Française of Auckland, and I am delighted to continue this journey with the Alliance Française of San Francisco.

Alongside teaching, I hold a doctorate in neurogenetics and conduct research focused on the genetics and neuroscience of autism. I particularly enjoy bringing insights from neuroscience and learning into my teaching, with the aim of creating supportive, engaging, and effective learning environments tailored to how students learn best.
